and furthermore the Su-57 only has a radar MAWS
while the F-22 has a UV MAWS
so when both are not emitting the F-22 can still have its MAWS active, while the Su-57 cannot

F-22 uses IR MAWS iirc
wrong
the LDIRCM works as part of the MAW and the sensors behind the cockpit on the side are also part of the MAW

not necessarily since the LDIRCM turrets can be used as an IRST

101KS-V is the designation of the frontal IRST
Right, the Su-57 has worse RCS no matter what because of the 2 spherical, uncoated protrusions which are always there. Which only gets even worse in the frontal and side aspect when IRST is deployed
you are operating under the assumption that every engagement will be perfectly front on, which is simply not realistic
It doesn’t have to be, the spherical shape reflects well from all around. For IRST it’s partially mitigated by the coating on the back but LDIRCM needs full coverage
you think that the F-22 will still be hard to detect when someone is side aspect to it
or even worse significantly above or below it
Stop trying to shift subject, any side aspect for F-22 or F-35 won’t be as bad because of the spherical protrusions on the Su-57.
you are operating mostly under the assumption that everything will happen perfectly head one where the RCS is most optimized
which is unrealistic
When did I say this?
honestly, I dont see a larger or smaller rcs as an absolute factor in determining a winner, unless its a fighter with a much lower RCS than an f22, and that just doesn’t exist, look, you’re still going to engage the enemy at more or less the same distance, and even then, the missiles won’t be in the NEZ unless we have something like an r37 on the table.
just as the F-22 will have an advantage in geometry for its stealth, the Su-57 will have a radar with somewhat better detection capability than the F-22…
ontop of that stealth will be irrelevant in most of the gamemodes because of this:

specially if they get the EWR to work
I’d venture to say that some people will prefer flying these planes with a non stealth payload

MCM is already a reality, and with better radars, it’s going to become just another walk in the park and having six Fox3s won’t be all that great
I can 100% guarantee you will have people complain about the F-35s stealth and you will look and it turns out they are flying them around with all the external pylons in use.
according to? it has less TRM than APG-77 and less advanced antenna
IRST deployed significantly impacts RCS. the difference in RCS isnt that small either, even more so when IRST is on. it will make a difference in detection range.
depends on how good F-22/F-35 RCS is, you could get within effective range of a late AIM-120. even more so with the F-22, considering it is generally regarded as stealthier, and can fly higher and faster to give missile more energy
dont forget the cheating accusations when one of the ppl with a full external load cant lock onto someone that is only using the internal weapons
remember that the design philosophies behind both radars differ, and su57 doesn’t just have one antenna, it has three, two of them operating in the L-band, the very band where f22 is more observable
