I thought 177s was for export planes or is it both?
It’s both.
afaik yes, serial production Su-57s have covered engines
Thanks.
A certain someone had me playing the Su-57 in AC7 again and the engines were didn’t look right to me for some reason.
ace combat has only T-50 airframes (at least up until AC8, dunno what model is used there)
that certain someone has a taste i’d say
how much you wanna bet that small bays still have R-60s in them?
how much are you willing to lose?
the pack of Batonchiki i have on my table
unfortunately I can’t match that bet. </3
So it didn’t end well the hexagonal nozzles 🥀
We might see them later when Izd. 30 enters production, or they might swap back to serrated nozzles like Izd. 177.
naked Su-57

Then you apply primer to your minies and waiting then it dries out before (hopefully) paint them
and it also yours reminder to PAINT YOUR MINIES
so, honestly, it’s the disadvantage I always want to have with me
maintaining datalink on target has already proven to be the future, and radars with a large gimbal size dominate over those with limited gimbal, small gimbal makes defense as well as recommitting so much harder, leaving you held hostage until the enemy runs out of weapons
here, you’re also assuming you’ll always have the element of surprise, which is quite difficult when the aircraft are on a par technologically
i mean if you turn your radar off others wont see it on their RWR. its not a very crazy thing to say.
if advanced RWR targeting is added, then the emissions of the Su-57 will make it easy to lock onto passively using that.
you’ll be detected within 50 km, there’s no hiding given the way we fight in war thunder
what if the su57 uses the same tactic? it will get down to IRST vs IRST
RWR has longer range than radar since the signal only has to go one way for RWR but it has to bounce back for the radar to detect something. You will pretty much always see the Su-57 before he sees you using this tactic, even with a non-stealth aircraft
IF the Su-57 can do this (afaik it cannot), then yeah, it would be IRST vs IRST.
But the Su-57 using IRST absolutely kills its RCS, so if someone else were to use radar the Su-57 would be at a disadvantage against them
