Sukhoi Su-57 Felon - Technical details, Analysis and Discussion

There are probably only 2-3 prototypes, and you know the period of Serdyukov, Timurov, and Shoigu’s management.

Schel-3UM isn’t used anymore iirc, it was replased with Sura and NSTS-T. But in general Russian pilots don’t bother with installing it on their helmets. One of the Su-35 pilots said that you don’t really need it in modern combat, and tall box ACM is more than enough 95% of time when WVR combat is taken into consideration.

May I know if these helmets are related and whether or not they’re capable of acting as a HMD? Also if they have a name or not.

I’m not very knowledgeable on this unfortunately, is it because previous t-50’s are renamed to higher numbers further into their development?

Ive gotten lost in this confusion too, nobody knows what the hell engine they want to equip the Su-57 with. Ahhhhh ive heard enough put an RD-33 in it.

There is a guess Iran (when things calm down) are going to get a mix of Su-30s from Russia and J-10 for China. the Su-30 will handle long range work and J-10 handle short range work (what the mig29 does but much better) and network them together with Chinese air defense package sort of like Pakistan. The stealth aircraft likely wont happen until later.

Though the issues of $$$ was a issue one other issue from the Chinese was the fear of a J-10 being captured and being trucked off to USA as a “educational” aircraft (not ideal) like what happened to some of Iraq’s aircraft.

This is all theory though we see when we see but it would be fully logical if it happens. The Tomcats are getting up there also they might have gotten the Su30s from some reports its just they don’t have the pilots or mechanics ready so there deep underground right now. They have the Russian helicopter flying that is fully confirmed.

why would Iran get the Su-30 when they already have the Su-35

Whoops that was the one

But overall they need the meat and potatoes of airforce so who knows if they are going to buy su57 any time soon. It would make sense though if they where to get the twin seat they have that drone fighter project they squeezed out of that stealth fighter thing.

Though Su 35 is not confirmed fully when it flys fat lady has sung.

Also don’t forget about the flying jellyfish - pentagon

Lol

dual seaters might be better for air defence network

Which I highly doubt they have a network

But they can build one. And for that Su-30 might be a better pick than Su-35 in my opinion. Tho i wish Su-30 actually had Irbis inside for better performance as a backline fighter.
