Sukhoi Su-57 Felon - Technical details, Analysis and Discussion

i wonder what they did to fit engine with smaller intake diameter into an airframe designed for AL-41F1

I was talking with someone in WT chat and they bought up that the Su-57 has a bad side-on RCS, and that the AL-51 was causing issues with flying. Does anyone have sources to back up or disprove this?

Looks to me as if he is the one that needs to bring proofs.

spherical MAWS and LWR coverage, MAWS is dual band in UV and NIR, the sensors are not single pixel sensors and are fully capable of image generation, full RWR coverage too

the LDIRCM turrets also have an IR sensor making them triple purpose LDIRCM, MAWS and IRST, when a threat is detected, they stop spinning and jam the threat

Even go cold without blind spots, remember the rear facing radar

the rear facing radar dosent give you the ability to track targets

see how you have the yellow zone for the side facing radars and the blue zone for the main one

but there is nothing to the rear

The zones here are rather incorrect, the side facing ones should be able to look more to the back and the rear facing one is, iirc, capable of guiding
