Russia doesn’t have the same resources as the US. What they’ve achieved with their budget and constraints is incredible. You also need to try to think objectively.
And in the end they managed to secure sales with Algeria, who has been one of their largest and most loyal customers and partners since the Soviet era. So…? This is an undeniable, big success for the Su-57.
That’s another debate, here we’re getting into economics and politics but in the current context, it’s important to remember that resources are acquired through military/geopolitical actions. Keep that in mind. Yes, their economy is somewhat fragile, but they will pull through. The 90s are long gone.

pak-fa (program name of su-57) was also getting funding from india until they pulled out in 2018, don’t forget

The interesting thing to note is the model is Su-57E, hence the flat nozzles are offered for export

The situation is kind of bleak, the ToT is still not upto the expectations of indian side, Infact india is considered less trusted than algeria. This issue has been for a while, a mutual agreement from both sides has failed to establish, HAL wanted better technology transfer with cooperative development of FGFA (this was unrelated to PAK FA projects own developments, other than the base design), however the russians didnt want to just transfer their latest technologies like this, which makes sense, they just wanted to give the finish product and add on the changes later.
Also i havent been updating the main posts info, so ill be rewriting a decent chunk of it, I will also include all the T-50 variants briefly describing them mostly in respect to the systems which matters in game. Plus there has been some misinformation also mentioned, like The linear arrays are SiC not GaN (Turns out they test their TRM by placing it in a linear pattern…)

regarding the megapolis variants, there are T-50M1 and M2???
Also, currently 4 T-50 are converted to testbed for megapolis project as identified by this logo

Did you miss the part where it was refinished exclusively for this showing? 01 Blue itself is in Dubai
If you want the full timeline:
It was delivered in 2017 as a Stage 2 testbed
In early 2021 it was refitted as a stage 3 airframe as Red 01 and given a contractual reg of 81774
In late 2021 during the Dzyomgi transfer it was held in Zhukovsky and repainted as Blue 01
A few months ago it was refitted entirely to its serial standard and repainted back to 509.
I know that thinking is hard, especially with how wildly reposts of insanely old images go around, but remember…
It took 2 years to refit all 3 aircraft. Pretty much all of it started in a scramble when 51-0-01 crashed and there were no other pre-serial airframes that could fill its role in testing. That was the point of T-50-9’s conversion to 51-0-02.
I can barely remember it myself when I see half of the images being run around. There’s a spreadsheet I’ve been building since 2010 on the program’s milestones.
It doesnt make sense to me, especially 509 blue being 01 blue
01 blue was fully coated in RAM by 2020 when it was delivered
but we also have images of this year, where 509 is getting repainted
The turquoish radome is clearly visible… it doesnt make sense for RAM to wear of so fast… or undo the whole coating just to make it “509” back
Other than that 511 doesnt make sense being a 52 red, in 2022 it was testing the megapolis sensors, at the same time 52 red also coexisted, i dont think so thats possible

Su-57 use little to no Flare. And it have a new “single use transmitters”(PPOI/ППОИ)” to jam incoming radar missile.
