Sorry to disappoint but there’s 3 "Su-35"s
T-10M → Su-35
Pre-production Su-35S prototypes → Su-35
Export Su-35S → Su-35
Probably another I’m forgetting since they never like to make things easy but whatever.

Weren’t those the Su-35BM? Or is that yet another thing?
yes those are the Su-35BM or Su-27BM
I know
So they’re not a Su-35nothing, they’re a Su-35BM so there’s in fact only two Su-35 with nothing after.
Am I right?
in russian service is only one, with nothing behind it, the 27M
and the other Su-35 with nothing after is the export varian of the Su-35S
No, Su-35BM was an unrealized program from 1999 taking notes from Su-27M, Su-30MKI/MKK, hence the canards. They also would’ve had rather differing tech than Su-35.

The Pre-production Su-35’s were the finalized design of Su-35 from 2003 after 35BM’s had been scrapped.
Ie, Su-35-1 '901 Black, Su-35-2 '902 Black and Su-35-4.
Also I don’t believe “Su-27BM” is a real designation, only Su-35BM.
Well pre-production Su-35S being called Su-35 makes sense in Russian terminology… I always thought the BM was the prototype/pre-production of Su-35S since many websites claim that, and they look very similar
As a certain Naiton I am quite interested in is possibly receiving Su-35SE this year - finally - I will not only make a new Suggestion but also rework this one.
Edit: Reworked this Suggestion.
Algeria Su-35SE?
Think about South East Asia. :P
While its not confirmed, the rumours are heating up again.
Myanmar?
Indonesia again?
Yup.
I don’t think Indonesia will end up buying them tbh
I hope gajin introduce Su-35S (2016 variant) before current batch
Wouldn’t that not get R-77M and R-37M?
Thing is; they had a procurement for Su-35 ever since 2018 and never cancelled their plans for it, confirmed by Sergei Tolchenov early last year - in which Indonesia also abandoned plans for the American F-15EX (F-15IDN), as Boeing lacks capacities and the Trump Administration being ‘what it is’.
Now there are signs that Su-35SE for Indonesia is close to become real (again), yet unconfirmed but rumors are circulating, along with talk of a possible J-10 deal. Also noteworthy is the Indonesian government’s uncharacteristic silence regarding the Su-35 or deals generally, which fuels speculation about an imminent purchase / alleged delivery in the near future.
Gotcha. We’ll see. I still have my doubts about it.
