There is not a single source that state the empty weight of Su-35s. The one that said 19tons its from Piotr Butowski book. But its calculate from the Old brochure from Knaapo. SU-35_TM_eng.pdf
I have one that states it’s 18400 kg, but it’s secondary source at best and I question its validity. There’s a primary source floating out there that has su27m weight that I’ve seen before that I’m going try and find again. Su35s yeah there’s no official empty weight for it
If you are talking about balance, how come that F-15E is the only one that was spared 14.3 treatment? Please don’t tell me that it is bad, F-15E can compete with any 14.3 even if it doesn’t have 1 to 1 capabilities.

Su-30 is better in missile count and radar. But F-15C and F-15E have enough of their own strengths to compete with Su-30 pretty easily and both are at lower br than it.

N035 is more powerful than N011M so it might be heavier.

AL-41F1S is bigger and most likely heavier than AL-31
Strengthened airframe with additional harpoints as well as increased load limit on them can add a hefty amount of weight.
then scratch that from second group and add it to the first one. And if wiring in the airframe was replaced with optic fiber as well it would make it quite a bit lighter.
The thing its. Yes the Airframe use a lot more of composite and better Materials. But the Airframe was also strengthen/Reinforce. The Area around were the Air break was locate. Was also redesign. Its was this part that was modify and blender better with the wing. That and because the Brochure has the Khibiny pod (15.3m of wing span)… People was under the assumption that Su-35s has bigger wings. Like in the F-2 from Japan compare with the F-16. In this regard it was commented by the design. That with that modification the Su-35s has better aerodynamic than older Su-27.
As you has comment. Su-35s also has a lot more system than other Flanker. Like the IFF/Interrogator on the wing. And RAM…
For me the close the Weight on game its to 18000ish the better.
not going to lie, I have to dig in for that, most of my russian research has been on the su-27, its deritative and its missiles, so to some extend other air craft of its time period. I haven’t really done any research on surface-to-air missiles, but i can probably find it for you
