maybe it has to do with how much power the engine puts out in flight, I dont know what the current engine curve is, but maybe its higher at certain speed ranges, maybe it doesnt lose as much power when installed compared to a static power test as it does in the game. While they’re not being clear, there’s no way to know for sure, but I can guess a bunch of different things that aren’t just a new engine.
I remember the thrust of the Su30 being 12060-ish kgf on the very first day of Hornet Sting dev server, I don’t know where they got that number from and why it was changed after just a few hours, but maybe we could see a number close to that coming back.
For know thrust is 11660kgf for each engine
yep, it was changed to this value after not even 3 hours of dev server, probably was just an error they wanted fixed immediately.
i think its range will get increased to 70km.
Talking about Kh-38M family… Can you guys help to identify who missiles on Su-34? Looking at the seeker it looks like Kh-38ML but I’m sure.

Yeah the range of the SAMP/T and BUK is quite nice, 1500m/s is no joke either.

that is a Kh-38MT the seeker is slightly angeled downwards, the seeker on the Kh-38ML isnt
the Kh-38ML seeker also has a metal mesh infront of hte seeker glas

isnt the AL-41F-1S that are used on the Su-30SM2 and Su-35S? its the most logical thing that the thrust buff could mean unless gaijin just stumbled upon the sekrit dokuments for the AL-31FPs
wouldnt be the first time that a flanker has a mix of components in game (Su-27SM with Su-27SM3 engines)
Maybe they are touching the Installed Thrust. It way too high in Flanker. When thing like Grippen don’t even have. And Grippen have literally the worst kind of intake.
Edit; Also about Kh-38 on Su-30sm. The IR variant its literally made against naval target and are mean to be use from SU-30sm that the navy have.

Yeah those two could come in handy, does the Su-35 have a better RWR coverage tho? Or similar to what we have now.
it has a different RWR antennas so it should be better
but this also apllies to the Su-30SM2
