Was wondering if anyone who plays or knows stuff about su30mkm could answer this question. I’ve noticed my MAWS shoots out flares when I’m fired at from BVR range at the beginning of the match. Is this a bug or not because it’s annoying to lose all my flares in the first 5 minutes of the match

in the mkm i just turn off automatic maws dispensing. It’s really only viable on planes with BOL cms.
You mean by disabling it in the modifications? Wouldn’t that turn off the missile direction on the rwr? Or is there a way to turn off the dispensing by itself?

the second one just toggles in game, like turning it back on and off.
the options ones just disables automatic release at mission start.
your maws will still work
it just wont automatically dispense cms for you, you have to do it manually. you will still get warning

yeah, for typhoon, i just have it on, for any other plane, i turn it off tho
You’ll need the keybind anyway since Gaijin sometimes reset options to keep you on your toes.
