its all Su-30s aswell
Gaijin actually doing something to punish base bombers? Based
Some cool dogfight with Su-27SM against F-16 (HMD in action).
Pitty that replays from simulator are standardly broken so I cant look on last dogfight with cannons.
Hell I love R-27ET.
Wonder if there was some upgrade to it. Like bigger sensitivity of seeker so I can attack on longer range.
the bug report describes it as a separate mode for the AL-31 called “spin” atleast according to my translator that is not related to emergency thrust tho

Nah not for Russians.
Ukrainians made seeker upgrades including an imaging seekerhead but that’s obviously not gonna be on Russian planes
Thats pitty.
I think it’s OLS-36t and yeah (english brochure)

since im pretty sure the R-27ET is hard limited to 11km front aspect in game rn unlike it says in the brochure its supposed to be able to track 16-18km front aspect
yeah… unfortunate that we don’t have seekerhead performance for r-27t like we do for r-24t.
lock on ranges can exceed 100km (afterburning f-15 for example stands no chance even front aspect lol)
r-24t lock ranges manual
first image is og image, second is translation

Weren’t the R-27ETs exported to china with the better seeker? i suppose they could get them
I think “spooling” would be a bit more correct, engine goes over its usual RPM limit at speeds above 800kph to get to the top speed quicker. There is a limitation in manual to not use this mode for more than 7 minutes but it seems to be not a hardware limitation, but just a rule imposed for the sake of engine service life.
Lmaooo 😂
Still got 20509 days since last login😭

Too strong for the forum, I predate everything war thunder has ever known
Welp guys sad news, Kazakhstan Air Force just lost Su-30SM today.
Pilots are safe apparently, that’s what matters.
Sadly same can’t be said for Turkish Air Force Pilot.
TAF lost an F-16 today and sadly pilot went with its plane until the end.
Wonder what was the cause, we will probably hear about it in a few weeks, after proper investigation.
