Something like that, also 2 less missiles. As i said, it’s pure for collection sake, could be an event vehicle. If gaijin is willing to take some flak they could also add R-33, T10 was originally plannedd to have 2 R-33 missiles between nacelles in overload configuration, but idea was dropped because R-33 showed worse results than R-27ER in speed and altitude range of T10, as well as would require new seekerhead (MiG-31 works in 3cm wavelength, while Su-27 and MiG-29 use 2cm wavelength like US radars)

24 countermeasures on T10 lmao. Another interesting thing is that initially Su-27 defence suite also had Mak-U in the kit, but was put on hold because of weight limitations and low reliablity.
What’s Mak-U?
MAW system, at the time was installed on fresh Su-24Ms.

this round fella
@kizvy we talked about Su-15 and flares,

This book says it is a flying laboratory that was used for testing charges for APP-50
Oooooo, I see.
Su-27SM2 was only a proposed program, it was never realized before being cancelled and merged with the Su-35 program, and for the irbis bit, as far as I know Su-30MKK-3 was used for irbis tests (with a downpowered or whatever version of it) before Su-35.
What T10 design is your favourite? We have:
The very first from 1970
The one from 1971

Now we are creating F-18

Scratch that, soviet F-15 here we go!

I’m more of a fugly air intake kind of gal myself.
Not Su-27 but i really like early drawings of MiG-29

This is where engineering fantasy truly shines after all. without all that pesky physics and shit
That side aspect really reminds me of the Su-57 for some reason.
minus the LERX and intakes.

APP-50 placements on Su-27S prototypes
Would be nice to have T-10 in TT. It would fit perfectly in gap between Su-17M4 and Su-27.
Well, it still gonna have 6 R-27ERs so i don’t think gaijin will put it any lower than 13.0
Like idk. 24 flares and meh flying performance. + didnt ER came like in 1990 - 6 years after last flight of T-10?
Question how much internal fuel would a 21,400 kg flanker be? Su-27 sk

Well, as an operational missile in service - probably, but this book gives info about test launches and you can see K-27ER and ET there
