iam already able to achive a NEZ of close to 100km in the J-11B with the Pl-12
(at mach 2 flying at 10km alt)
now imagine what would happen in the Su-35 with the R-37M doing the same
(disclaimer: Iam doing this in Sim, iam not suicidal, Iam ok)

gonna need that AWACS anyway to help guide it in since you cant see with TWS HDN over like 120km with the N035 anyway lmao
Exactly lol
I’ve started playing sim recently (as in my first match in years was last night) and I’ve been practicing on the SM2 since the TVC + AL-41s are really forgiving if you mess up a maneuver.
Trimming it is weird though.
Aside from that it’s a good plane… Very unfinished tho.
Ah my favorite french man. I didn’t expect him to cover the Blue Plane.

I think it’s pretty safe to say that it’s the best 13.7 rn, it was second to the M2K-5F, but that one got moved to 14.0 for a while now.
The 14.7 decompression should help the 27sm even more, since it won’t face as many (currently but not for long) 14.3’s.
In top tier sim??
Specifically around takeoff and landing, I find it’s kinda hard to control.
(again, I’m new to sim.)
U gotta use SAS Damping mode
the what???
Search ur controls for “Toggle SAS mode” and bind it. Set it to “Damping” and enjoy smooth flying
Press the SAS button and cycle through the modes, damping works well on flankers
I see, I’ll try it out! Thanks a ton, I was having a ton of issues at ~200-400kph trying to land or take off.
SAS makes even carrier landing easy
I see. Well I might try the F-14 or Su-33 in sim then.
I just hopped in a test flight and this is so much easier omg.
They’re not great. I’ve actually never seen them perform well even at the top of their brackets. Early flankers still being 13.3 in sim will always baffle me
SAS activates the fly-by-wire in planes that have it. Most planes that have SAS damping benefit from it, but in earlier planes it can sometimes pull u up or down at certain speeds, especially if u’re carrying ordnance
