Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

That… would make sense as to why it felt like my plane was trying to kill me at low speeds.

Thank you so much .

you need to use that bc the flankers all have automatic flaps

they are deployed until ~ 700kph and until that speed you will have to fight the flanker constantly trying to pitch up, without SAS modes

Hope u enjoy sim now! We’re a growing community. Even helping out guys on the opposing team with gameplay tips is standard practise; much less toxicity and sweatiness

That’s what was happening to me and why I was trying to Trim it.

Thanks.

I’ve done a little bit of DCS before so I’m not too clueless… but they’re pretty different games.

WT sim is alot funner from what I’ve played so far.

I’ve noticed lol, RB is kinda… sweaty. I’ve grown really fond of Ground Sim tbh.

Maybe, I really like the Flanker I think its an awesome aircraft. Mind boggling how even in a crippling economy facing so much hardship some guys and gals managed to make a jet with so much performance.

I cant be asked to grind another TT though and I don’t feel like spending cash on the premium ones so i just have to fight them lol.

You got me in first half not gonna lie.

27SM and J11B shares the top in my book, however I will choose J11B due to MAW, better radar and PL12’s.

I’m sure the J11B is a really good aircraft, they share some key features afterall.

Hopefully one day I’ll try with my hands

As far as i know its the lightest Flanker and does have better engines than Su27SM for high speed, while loosing access to R27ET and R73’s hurts the combination of flight performance, MAW, radar and PL-12 makes it better in my book.

Yep, if it had mixed loadout options like the mkk it would be quite scary

Its quite weird considering PLAAF still uses R27 on these days, its like Gaijin purposely didnt give R27’s and R73’s to the J11B.

pretty sure it cant use them IRL anyway, since they fully transitioned to Chinese avionics when they made it

unlike the J-11/11A that still use russian stuff

Actual proof that multipathing is not the best solution

Ukrainian air force caught multipathing in the big 26

its still heavier than the base su-27s, but it has better thrust to weight due to the engines.
j11b is lighter than su27sm tho

I’m not expert on this so I can’t say anything but judging recent footages that shows Chinese flankers can use R27 I think they are still capable of firing Russian munitions.
