Hm, I watched it on the phone, ig looked like rear aspect target. Well, then it might actually not be an error (there is still a relatively high probability, if my experience with translation in Russian promo material speaks for anything).
There is also Su-30SM launching 2 R-27Rs or Ps on a video from Russian MoD

wouldn’t be surprised if its r-27ep, as more modern su-35 brochures don’t list r-27er anymore
Is r27ep also supposed to act as a ARM or what?
it can theoritically also act as an arm, but its main use is against fighters trying to jam host radar

It’s not E version, you can see engine being flush with rear stabilisers, on E versions it protrudes. And brochures only mean that it is not offered for export anymore. Afaik Russia still uses R and ER, and modernises old missiles since 2019 with improved guidance and motors (there are also rumours about dual mode seekerheads as well, but no proof)
In what bands does the seeker work? I dont think its a wideband

because we already have a primary source saying that 2 can be guided at once (at different targets)
even the n019 and n001 had provisions to do that but in the end werent able to due to the radars not having enough ram

Problem is 13.0-14.0 still so compressed especially those premium Su-30’s causing havoc in 12.3-13.3 br.
Not to mention for some reason F15E models still staying at 14.0 while JAS39E will be raised to 14.3 right next to J10C.
Dont understand why they still compressing 12.0-14.0 so much.
Yeah I think they are planning to milk those premiums for a while, so the 13.3 br is here to stay pretty much.
Out of the 14.0’s now I think I’ll be able to enjoy the M2K-5F again a bit, MICHAEL’s are stil MICHAEL’s afterall.
