Gets 12 less cms, though in exchange it gets a spherical Ir maws (though after experiencing the radar maws on the eurofighter I would take nothing over that thing)
Does it have 84 or 86? 84 right?
84 cms only
Yeah I’ve seen pictures of the dispensers mounted under the tail like the SM2 or in the upper part, but never both at the same time, so it’s either or…
Count stays to less then 90 pretty much.
Ah no I wasn’t downplaying the SM2 by any means, the Su35 imo will be a nice step for situational awarness, and less CM count isn’t an issue, I’m used to it at this point.
6x14 =84
Though some su-35s have bottom dispensers for cms, but not all su-35s have these. I think gaijin will go for the original 6x14 on the top, as from what I can tell su35 was originally supposed to have 84 cms.

For example this su-35 doesn’t have the bottom dispensers

So they can technically give it 112 cms cause some have the bottom dispensers, while early models don’t have the bottom dispensers
I still think they wouldn’t give it more than 84, but eh could be a possibility.
It seems that Su-35S recieved bottom dispencers somewhere around 2014. At least looking at photos of the production batches. Being greedy gaijin can probably give us 2 different versions of Su-35S, but i think they will simply gonna go for 112 just because it will still be one of the lowest amounts of CMs at br bracket
Also it seems that very first models didn’t even had the 2 rear dispencers as well, only getting 4 containers between the engines
They could make additional pods as a researchable modification… if they are willing to do some extra work with 3D model. Which is a big stretch, looking at how they absolutely love to model Flankers to the tiniest of details and always make sure to go extra mile for absolute 100% authenticity.
Agreed, either they give it 112 at the start, or they give us 84, or they give us 84 at the start and then make 2 more dispensers a modification, kinda like how it is on 29 smt
KNAAPO vid advertising the Su-35S
(and showing the capebility of guiding 2 r-27er’s at once)
gotta say you see its age in the animations
KNAAPO picking the background song for their new advert be like:

I haven’t had much fun either to be honest, I played some new jets but it got repetitive quickly, since nothing really changed in terms of gameplay. The new jets can be as hype as we want, but it doesn’t last long usually.
I’m still in awe that they haven’t yet made BR changes, not that those would resolve the main gameplay issues, but damn some of these jets make no sense at their current BR’s. Changes are coming soon apparently, but who knows how much they are planning to decompress…
Its R-27EP. Passive version.
found this while looking for some info on it, i dont know what to use to translate so if you can share, thank you in advance.

also found that ukrain are using it on their mig29 right now

I think it’s just an error in the text, they show using it against a rear aspect target, which would be pretty much impossible for a passive missile
Copy and paste pictures here for translation from Russian especially:
In this case no really useful information, the information is generic and not totally accurate.
There’s barely any visual difference between 27R and 27P
what i read is the seeker is mostly yellow for the P variant
