I need to reiterate, nothing is preventing this missile from doing 300km (RVV-BD configured for 200km modeled using what has been used already for other missiles). 200km is a in a specific condition where it is launched at relatively low speeds. It could likely blow past 300km+ when launched from a Mig-31 for instance.
Unlikely unless they could fix the aircraft carrier anytime soon. I would have thought the upgrade is a simple one given all the kit is already readily available.
Tbh they could also just convert them to operate from land based like how the navy already operates the Su-30SMs, would probably shed some weight as well if they remove all the carrier stuff
issue is why? They still gotta reserve them, since the carrier is still there and they do want it back, just not necessarily realistic.

Well it is quite expensive even to get rid of. Plus when the war ends they could for example work with China on a big rehaul of the entire thing.

Well no, they would just get the Chinese to help with stuff, like avionics and help with the ship, since that’s kinda China’s advantage. Although IDK how much the Russians will mind just buying some tech straight away to make it work sooner.

3 kills per game, with the current average duration of a top tier ARB, playing everyday for a couple of hours will get you there in no time, especially if you only do that.

I stopped playing the SM2 in real matches. I don’t really like the missile thunder gameplay, but I’ve really enjoyed dogfighting in custom servers with it

im just tired of the ARB gameplay loop of 5 min TDM and repeat cycle, cant really be bothered to play more than a few ARB matches per day, so i have only played like 65 games in total with it

Yeah, that’s one of the reasons I stopped playing the rafale as well lmao. It’s one of my favorite looking planes but It just isn’t fun to me.
… That and I kept ripping my wings off from overspeeding- A issue I had initially with the SM2 as well.

Same man, got the SM2 first and then the AESA euro, had fun in both.
Also basically done with spading the MiG-25.
I was grinding the Rafale M, but it has basically nothing interesting, so I just played the C a bit instead. If I finish grinding the M it will just to take screens with it xD…
