Sukhoi Su-27/30/33/35/37 Flanker series & Su-34 Fullback - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

well, guess what the export versions seem to have

You would think for certain then the Su-34M will have RWR as a bare minimum

or maybe the Su-34 uses a RWR that isnt the L-150

and i also heard (this right here is hearsay, so no proper source) that the Jamming pods can provide RWR information

The Typhoons DAS system can and so can the Rafales so it is possible

Pretty sure what the su34 has is cuz of the su32 demonstrator brochure etc.

Khibiny seems provide info only about emission, but not about launch. The pilot said that they knew about the launch from escort fighters or ground observers.

i mean otherwise they wouldnt know about the launch until the missile goes active

but every jet would face that issue

Let’s just say we have a joke, will this modification help us throw FAB? no? Well, fuck her.

Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but the Su-30MK2 is a solid plane performance wise right? And I assume a solid grinder? (leaving the price aside for a moment)

It’s quite solid, I got the Chinese version which is better in my book due to bein able to carry Pl-12’.

It has solid RWR,10 missiles and good enough radar for its br, its retention at high speed is also good.

Thanks! I want to go for top tier Russia air (mainly for the 30SM2) after I unlock the J-10C and AESA typhoon, so I have been on the fence about buying the MK2 for that grind.

Glad you liked it.

I unlocked both J10C and SM2 and gotta say, SM2 doesnt feel fun.

Sure it has much better flight performance than regular SM, more missiles than J10C but for some reason I can’t get the same joy from SM2 compare to J10C even tho 10C has many problems.

Because you don’t have to engage with the game as much, airframe forgives a lot of mistakes due to the performance of your missiles, avionics and the engines. Same thing with Rafale, or Eurofighter, but with Eurofighter you at least have to think about how to use your missiles

Make sense considering I enjoy my SU-30MKK much more than SM2.

My fave right now is 27SM, it seets perfectly in the middle with great advantages but also big drawbacks (mainly in radar and missile range department)

I like 27SM as well but due to compression it falls into 14.3 territory a lot.

Meanwhile 30MKK enjoys the sweet spot.
