Tbh you can even see on pictures that the Su-35S has a bigger radome
I just need them to fix the speed of all flankers. They’re severely overperforming
Not even the bug report managers fault imo, to me the worse part is that the devs think that adding 3 copy paste Euros, a copypaste Rafale and 2 copypaste Su-30’s was the way to go for an interesting update.
In 2 weeks with all the hype gone down the drain these jets will be boring asf.
Props to the MiG-25 tho, the only original of the bunch.

It’s the fault of both devs and bug report managers. They’re both doing a bad job. But that’s not really the matter here
At least that one is actually different from the C, so yeah, I hope they add it.

Sukhoi used Su-30MK2 flying laboratory for Irbis tests, and that thing using N001 operationally. Bigger nose most likely gives more room for gimbal limits (but I think main reason is additional MAW sensors and avionics that warranted larger nose section) but Irbis most certainly can fit in the nose of a regular flanker (in fact I think N001 dish is actually larger than Irbis one)
Wasn’t it a su-30mk that tested it, not mk2? If I remember right it was su-30mk 503
you can see very well in this picture that the radome of the Su-30 starts tapering sooner than in the Su-35

Would be funny if they did fit Irbis, but did not changed raddome to accommodate, relying on digital scan to compensate restricted mechanical
