Well, to be fair internally it recieved some neat stuff. Airframe itself… depends on who you ask.
tbh the only one that recived something unique was the one of version that was for the Indian MMRCA competition with the integrated OLS-K and Zhuk-AE, all other versons are just rebadged 29Ms
All i want is Su-27M 710 with 2 al41f1 which is single seater but canarded, without the irrelevant heavy electronics (like khibiny) or the heavy RAM
boy would you love my suggestion (it’s been pending for over 2 months now)

I am acing things by doing air superiority. I had a cringe phase with Su-30 where I spammed groms for mission score during the event but I was an idiot back then
It’s really funny with how some suggestions gets almost no waiting time while some are stuck in the infinite waiting loop
Is there visual proof of Su-30SM2’s being fit with AL-41’s and IRBIS?
It has neither of those
So it’s not an upgrade over the Su30sm, in wt terms.
it does have R-37M access however
and also apparently a better BARS derivative radar. atleast in terms of range, we dont know the designation.
Fair enough, I always thought it had access to the Su35 engines, but since it doesn’t I would take the Su35 with R37’s over the SM2 with R37’s, as everyone would ig.

IIRC it was mentioned that SM2 will go through modernization and new engines are on the table, but thats it, just an interview

Ok, thanks for clarifying.
I saw a documentary about the factory, about 8 month ago. There was mentioned that new airframes for SM2 are modified to fit new engines. We could probably see them this december or next year, depending on how long it takes to fully assemble an Su-30
