I hope some more detailed info about 2019 modernisation program for R-27 would surface eventually. Only vague info about new seeker, new guidance system and new fuel charge for the rocket motor is mentioned with some bold claims of it being comparable to 120C
It would keep flankers uniqueness as the platform with effective SARH missile at top tier
has anything been done about the Su-30SM2’s missing countermeasures?
If i remember some had made bug reports on it, yet none were accepted or acknowledged as of yet

I like how irl the SM2 doesn’t have Al-41 or ibris, but it DOES have the extra CMs.
And in game it has AL-41, Irbris, but no extra CMs…

The MKI will likely become the most heavily armed missile-carrying fighter in gaming history.
It’s clearly an OP fighter capable of carrying Russian-made AAMs like the R-27, 73, and 77, alongside the I-Derby-ER and Astra, plus ASRAAM and Meteor (to be added via an ongoing upgrade program). Unconfirmed options include the K-100 (KS-172) and MICA.
