That its now. He was talking about the past. Before India even “leave” the project. So technically both are correct?
Yea and Su-35s its suppose to get a new update this year. But we don’t know what update will be. I just hope its not just a software update to use new R-77M missile or something in that line.
Right now? yeah i does nothing. If gaijin do modele it correct in the future it would mean less range. But the points still stand. No Nations with Typhoon in game has AESA radar installed on them. In the Future when Germany finally start producing that AESA it could be installed on the Quadriga Eurofighters.
Probably MLUs that just gives better lifetime/hours to the airframe. Unless Russia finally figured out a cheap way to make AESA which would honestly be a possibility since they started equipping pantsirs with AESAs now
No one was clowned, Eurofighter mains can’t accept that their version of supercruise shares no parity with the F-22. Instead they continue to push that the Eurofighter has similar or better kinematics to Sukhois which is laughable.
IMO the best options should be that they change Everything. AL-41 for 177c. Update IRBIS with some cheap GaAs something like what Indian did with BARS and the new Virupaksha AESA Radar. Its not like they don’t have GaN tech. The Phazotron FGA-35 was GaN based And that thing its already like 10yo and was powerful for a small jet like mig35. Change the old and bulky Baguette computer for the new IMA BK on su-57. So it now can use Fiber optic instead of FBW…etc.
Man even half of these change would be really good. Also all of them reduce the weight of the jet.
