it was talked about in other topics, because it was already known that the r-77m will be used on the Su-57, it was only new that it is used on the Su-35
It’s just that many of the posts in this thread about the r-77m were written as if this missile never existed. Even though they were written after the photo was published
Iirc it was talked about briefly in this thread, you’d have to scroll up a bit.
Yeah it was, how can I forget the “bell won’t save you from Meteor” guy :)
if I translated it correctly, then here is my answer) I have checked all the messages since the beginning of july
and i think the was another Su-57 related thread where it was talked about
What if I told you

Other than this…
The nose cone is slightly downwards from the fuselage, not perpendicular…
There also seems to be white ram sandwiches between the radome and the fuselage, which is also present over all exposed joints
The argument just seems stupid…
Other than that, byelka radar has a much smoother surface than other aesa radars on 5th gens
Will give SIGNIFICANTLY LESS CORNER REFLECTION RETURNS than the ones like apg77 or apg81
Some interesting info…
For those who don’t want to read the whole essay, here’s a tldr :-
-
byelka radar can track 60 target simultaneously and gude 16 aam together (16 dl channels)
-
The L band radar do seem to have a target detection (search) function alongside iff
-
neural networks (ai) is used for sensor processing, maybe the byelka also uses this for signal processing, boosting it’s range against stealthy targets
-
voice commands (gaijin please)
-
footages from the EO sensor can be directly projected on protective visor of the new hmd, like f35, see through capability
-
alleged r74m capability
i thought r74m is only used on other fighters (except su57).
You can do that with 3rd party software I think
I have seen ppl do it for other games
you could do that
maybe they made a version for the Su-57
that is a prototype.
u can see the diff between the prototype n the normal version here.
Oh, well, since it’s slightly, that just changes everything (lolno).
It’s not hard to understand that convincing the end customer of this is very difficult. Especially when you’re offering your so-called 5gen for export, and no one’s buying it.
Realistically how big would these corner reflections even be?
