Sukhoi Company Su-57 Felon - Russia's Stealth Apex Predator

Unconfirmed reports would suggest that 14 aircraft were on order to replace the MiG-25 Foxbats retired in June 2022

Unironically, this is the contract of the century.

and? that paired up with the other points i mentioned, makes it on par with stuff like f22/f35, heck with the irregular slotted TRM i mentioned about apg77/81, su57 might even be better in terms of stealth

no matter how much you try to cope and bring the same old argument back again, su57 is easily a 5th gen

algeria bought it, india is probably going to do the same

i dont see anthing wrong, other than the pic being slightly distorted by the poor camera quality

something significant because radars take up a huge portion of frontal arc

Yeah yeah.

screws wont be a problem since the arent even on the frontal arc, the seem properly flushed and treated this time, still wont be a problem against X band radars,

and the camera seems to make the pic a bit wobbly

are you just now discovering that huge, curved pieces of thick glass create optical aberration and/or distortions?

Well, if you say so. Just curious why other 5g aircraft manufacturers don’t agree with you.

oh most of them actually agree with me lmao

gotta give credit where credit is due, f35 does take care of its screws well, but rest are quite literally the same

oh, i thought it was only the camera lmao

that’s also a possibility, or possibly a combination of both, but it’s not really possible to judge the straightness of something from a not pristine quality picture taken with an unknown lens, through a canopy glass with possible distortions and optical aberrations

but hey, if someone is willing to go into a russian airbase with a known straight precision straight edge and feeler gauges to measure the straightness…

R74M - yes, it is operated by all Russian aircrafts, R74M2 is specific version of R-74 for Su-57 so it could fit the internal bays

Maybe he means the shape of the intake. Something’s wrong with that, if it’s so wave-ish, it could only mean that the quality of production is… mid to say the least. And yes, this should have a negative impact on the airframe’s RCS.

Yes, it’s out of topic a bit, there won’t be such thing in WT, but still

it seems to happen due to poor camera quality and the canopy interference
