What?
he ask what the thrust of the new engine is
If I’m not mistaken, (I could be wrong and getting lost in the numbers) the new AL51F1 “izdeliye 30” in comparison with the current AL41F1 has a thrust of 8,800 kgf (86.3 kN, 19,400 lbf) dry and 14,500 kgf (142.2 kN, 31,970 lbf) with afterburner, while the new engine (again if I’m not mistaken) provides 11,000 kgf (107.9 kN, 24,300 lbf) and afterburner thrust of 17,000 kgf (166.7 kN, 37,500 lbf) and has a different exhaust nozzle which improves its RCS.
It was tested on the T50-2 prototype I think
Just like I said above, I saw somewhere that VKS would no longer accept batches of Su57 with AL41 engines, so my guess is that it will probably come equipped with the new Su57M1 version, so theoretically in my view we could have 2 Su57 models in the game.
A second aircraft makes sense
According to Boris Obnosov it does, we’ve even seen a single image of what seems to be a R-77ME which is a variant of the 77M with a ramjet
Damn, that’s some big thrust.
The nozzle is also pretty cool not gonna lie
Hope to see it along with the AIM-120C-7 on the F-15E Late and Su-35S
we already have C-7 in wt on CLAWS and its completely identical to the C-5 already on F-15E
It should hopefully be modelled correctly by the time we see them on aircrafts
77m should be at the level of aim-120d3/260
and if we even more range, there is the r-37m
x6 R-37M is wild
Are those pods a further development of the Khibiny pods? First time I’m seeing that shape and design
hmmm wonder if it’s compatible with double pylons
x8 max ( but newer used )
only seen photos of 2x between intakes, 2x on engines, 2x on the innermost pylons, there’s brochures that say x2 more on the second innermost pylons but never seen pictures of them actually mounted there, so i predict gaijin will give 6x max. They’ve done similar things to eurofighter
6x is possible easily
During Su-75 unveiling, it was told it can carry 3 missiles in the main IWB, which is same as Su57s
However, due to R-77m still being in devlopment, and the m1 variant shenanigans, its likely the triple rack pylons arent developed yet
