Sukhoi Company Su-57 Felon - Russia's Stealth Apex Predator

6x is possible easily

During Su-75 unveiling, it was told it can carry 3 missiles in the main IWB, which is same as Su57s

However, due to R-77m still being in devlopment, and the m1 variant shenanigans, its likely the triple rack pylons arent developed yet

So the documents were leaked however the documents were for the su-57 / T50 prototype rcs is from 1 to 0.1Metre square Now we don’t really know the su-57 radar cross section we have a 3D models that were run through the radar simulation that came up to around 0.1 m square average RCS

Currently there are only six internal hardpoints in Su-57; two is for the R-74M2, so it lefts four for the R-77M.

gen 3 thermals? also, wouldn’t that compromise its stealth? I assume it could laser using its irst like the su-35 can anyways though.

I think it’s third generation.
The pod was specifically made for the Su-57 so it may have stealth properties

That just looks like a generic modern TGP. SNIPER comes to mind

Could be, but why would they create a whole new pod for this aircraft is the question.

It’s their high end fighter, so they are making it high end equipment. Who’s to say a version of this pod doesn’t end up on a flanker eventually?

They already use the T220 for flankers, iirc the Su-35S has been seen with it.

Also I wonder if this new pod has shutters to decrease RCS, similar to how the IRST works.

Is T220 a different TGP or a different name for the Su-57 one?

I hope they aren’t trying to increase the RCS, that would be screwing themselves over

It’s a different pod.

Typo, sorry lol

I see. Well, maybe they are making the new TGP for the Su-57 first as it’s the most advanced platform, and then later it may be integrated with Flankers as it’s costs lower from mass production

did the su-57 ever get its correct engines?

The Su-57M1 will be the variant with the new engines, but believe the Su-57 has trialed them

i wonder how it would even look like, I would assume something like looks like the lau 88 triple rack maverick launcher is outta the question, because it would be to tall/deep. i dont think i’ve ever seen a triple rack air to air missile

It would be similar to aim120 in f22, middle missile will be slightly offset parallely from the other 2 r77m

I literally posted this right above
