I’ll get to the point:
Spaa should take a few seconds to spot you, and a few more seconds to lock you. Currently they track through terrain.
Slightly reduce the overall accuracy of AA so that maneuvering actually works.
Increase the reload rate of AA.
Massively reduce the interception of munitions(So that most of them become usable)
Increase the spotting distance so they are visible at around 10-15km, giving enough time to react.
Reduce the density of AA.
These are all proposed with the following in mind-
Dogfights become feasible- right now even a slight altitude gain gets you 4 missiles in the behind.
Tactical play becomes preferable over hugging the ground and rushing to the bases.
The game can proceed farther than the first set of bases - most people die at the centre by surprise aa.
More range of aircraft become effective. Especially ones with low air to ground munitions or low countermeasure counts.
I have been trying to play nuclear escalation both with the Russian and American tech trees. I just cannot seem to get a lot of success in this mode as I constantly keep dying to the AA. Constantly hugging the ground for 5 mins then being 360 no-scoped by a 2s6 or an ito u didn’t see or being launched at by the entire army of s300s the moment u gain 50m of ralt is a very strange definition of fun. Maybe if they balance the AA the wait times will become better as it will become a less stressful mode overall for us average players.
