The issue as I stated is that people can’t appreciate others inputs and opposition
I can appreciate your inputs, but I don’t understand your opposition. Why are you defending a system that, by all accounts, is rigged in favor of Gaijin’s corporate bank account?
As stated a long way back, the post-match activation is dumb to me, because it removes the wager side of it, the part that makes you try harder, rather than just pick and choose what match you thought was good.
This is just your opinion. My take on it is the idea that you’re trying to make your outcomes better because you don’t see any good from how they are currently.
It’s not what I said, and the actual mentality behind it is if people don’t have skin in the game, they decide it’s not worth it and back out…
That’s why I said what I said, and why the boosters should remain the way they are.
If they can pick and choose which matches qualify, there’ll be more picking and choosing about which matches people will ODL in.
Many are mistaken as to the problem they are facing to be real… Constantly people blame the servers, but often it’s just their wifi. People complain about being got when it was merely their bad choices that led to thier demise.
I don’t know about that, but I do know right now that the only reason I One-Death Leave is because my team is getting smacked around like a ragdoll and I don’t want to waste the Silver Lions on spawning a plane straight into the slaughtering field, one that’s just going to end up adding to my repair bill for no gain at all.
If we could choose which matches qualify for boosters, I would still ODL for the exact same reason: Because it’s a turkey shoot out there, and my team are the turkeys.
the actual mentality behind it is if people don’t have skin in the game, they decide it’s not worth it and back out…
They do have skin in the game: They want to get to top tier vehicles.
You are confusing Boosters with Wagers, the actual gambling part of the game.
The part that makes a person try hard is the increased rewards, not the gambling and certainly not the inevitable losses.
Booster or no booster, if my team is getting slaughtered out there, I will ODL because I know it’s a bad match and it’s not even worth trying at that point. The criminally low amount of SL I receive for a catastrophic loss will most definitely not result in me breaking even, even if I’m using a 500% booster.
In what universe does it make sense to continue playing a game and using boosters when you know you’re inevitably going to lose?
I am absolutely not… I know what I mean, and I know what I say, and unlike you, I know what I am replying to.
And this, is just straight ignorance… You aren’t psychic, and those who think they are, often blame the team for thier problems because it can’t possibly be them that’s lost the match, even though they stopped trying 5 minutes in.
Yeah you are. You most certainly are confusing boosters with wagers.
Again, in what universe does it make sense to continue playing a game and using boosters when you know you’re inevitably going to lose?
Only a delusional one, that’s what.
I’m well aware. Making it possible to activate boosters post-match will not make me psychic, but it will enable me to choose my best matches and make me work harder to make every match I’m not going to lose five minutes in, my best match possible.
When you’re clearly outmatched and there’s nothing you can do about it, stopping trying is the best thing to do. Why continue to fight a battle you know you’re going to lose?
War Thunder is not an individual game. It’s a team game. That means if you have a victory, you all get the credit since you all contributed. And if you lose, then it’s the entire team - yourself included - that contributed to that loss.
As part of a team, you share the glory when you win, but you also share the blame when you lose.
No one individual ever loses a match by themselves.
And if you are referring to the 90% chance that you will end up defeated and not gaining the benefit of that booster, well then I have a newsflash for you pal.
If that’s gambling, then the table - so to speak - is rigged.
And in those kinds of conditions, you don’t use boosters because they’re just going to end up wasted, guaranteed. You also ODL a lot because it’s not worth playing beyond your first plane.
It’s not about the names, it’s about the pre-match activation… And the need to win something to actually make it worth anything.
Don’t ‘pal’ me, and fact is no, you aren’t psychic, and you aren’t alone like many think they are. Your stats are made up because you just want to exagerate.
If you think it’s rigged, then you’re just pessimistic, hence why you can’t handle the pre-match activation, and need the post-match activation you’re demanding.
Again, mindset, and yours is just full on loss/failure oriented.
Maybe because War Thunder is deliberately designed to frustrate, in order to coerce players into spending money to get an easier and more rewarding time in the Game?
