Suggestion: Add optional PL‑12 twin‑rail composite pylon for J‑16

Dear Gaijin Development Team,

I am submitting this suggestion to add an optional PL‑12 twin‑rail composite pylon (PFT‑12) for wing hardpoints 2 and 3 of the in‑game J‑16.

Real‑world reference:
The PFT‑12 twin‑rail pylon for PL‑12 missiles is an off‑the‑shelf item officially displayed multiple times at the Zhuhai Airshow. Its mechanical and electrical interfaces are compatible with the heavy‑duty wing hardpoints (station 2 and 3) of the J‑16. The related PFT‑15 twin pylon has been photographed in operational flight on J‑16, confirming that this type of twin‑rail hardware is compatible with the airframe.
This loadout is not a standard everyday combat fit, but a technically feasible, catalog‑available option.

Current state in War Thunder:
At present every PL‑12 on J‑16 must be mounted one missile per hardpoint. The publicly exhibited twin‑pylon option is missing from the available loadouts, resulting in incomplete representation.

Proposed changes:

  1. Add the PFT‑12 PL‑12 twin‑rail composite pylon as a player‑selectable, non‑default loadout option for wing stations 2 and 3 on J‑16.
  2. Keep all existing loadouts fully unchanged. No default or forced full‑missile configuration.
  3. No changes to flight model, battle rating or PL‑12 missile statistics are needed. This request only adds one publicly exhibited, technically‑compatible optional payload and does not intend balance adjustments of any kind.

Public Zhuhai Airshow photographs of the PFT‑12 pylon are attached as source evidence.
Thank you for your consideration.

very much look like these pylons

Can’t agree more!

Maybe as a modification?

all of these pylons look like the ones for the rockets…

this is a bunch of cope

rockets mounted under the air intake is impossible, firing them will bring thrust into the engine.

so would aam´s so whats the point…

and that image is so grainy you almost cant make out the pylons anyway

and bombs are a thing

AAM uses ejection rack PFT12/15 seen on Chinese jets are all ejection rack. The missiles are pushed away from the aircraft and then ignited. This is the reason why J10C has duel AAM pylons under its air intake.
By the way, the duel R77 pylon seen in game on su30 is not realistic at all, Gaijin made them up.

Not sure why people blatantly lie about the MRML/R-77/etc racks.
