I really hope they start upscaling the dimensionality and diversity of the maps themselves before cramming more varied and sophisticated vehicles in.
I hope too, but I don’t believe they will do so.
Or they will do it but not soon. The community will need to boycott the game. And they will already have added subs and other sophisticated stuff.
Look, they just added the F-117A in the game, but the maps are too small and not adapted.
They even recently resized the ground maps and they made them smaller. For naval too maps are not adapted for submarines and modern warships with electronics and advanced shooting computer.
Unfortunately Gajin politics is “kills” are most important thing than gameplay.
But yes if they don’t rework the naval maps, naval will hardly be back in the game even with new stuff.
Maybe it’s nothing to do with submarines, but I noticed that scout planes bomb fuse is longer on the dev server. It would be great for submarine hunting.
Also on RU dev steam ( I watched in English translation ), the main dev said(at the end) that the next update is going to be very interesting. I wonder what is that? Submarines would make it very interesting.

Mobile games have shorter lifespan than PC games, and update routine is also much shorter.

WTM module layout is much simplified than PC version, which is main reason.
- WTM players complain ALOT less than PC players so I doubt subs are anywhere near good enough to be added without annoying both the people that were always going to be mad about subs, but also sub fans too.
U-955 of the Atlantic event just got spotted in the files, with also the Fletcher.
Interestingly the new Naval effects planned for Firebirds doesn’t seem to include the ship debris found in the files earlier, so it seems like that is further away than this update.
Again, it doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with submarines, but it does point towards more substantial improvements for Naval in the future, which is a good thing regardless.

honestly I tried enlisted and just didn’t enjoy it as much as war thunder, didn’t really feel it (honestly with the D-day match COD ww2 did the Normandy invasion a lot better vibe wise)
Yeah me too, I played Enlisted just after his release, had a great time on it.
But too arcade for me. Hell Let Loose or at least Squad 44 is better.
By the way, who played like me to Hereos & Generals, back then when this game was a banger?

Seems like Gaijin has developed some improvements to ship AI.
Ooh yes, H&G was amazing! Now to fill that gap I also play Enlisted. I was thinkimg of getting into Hell Let Loose, but I rather play without having to voice chat/communicate constantly. And Squad 44 seems cool, but I play on Xbox (more affordable for me then to get a pc)

Yes, I agree, it would be interesting, since like you said it should be easier to make them with this mechanic.
I never thought to visit purely Naval side of the forum before but now I see this! I don’t know how much I could add but I did make a suggestion regarding how their spawn condition should work, check it out if you want to!
