I’m all about minelaying subs. That would be the occasion to add one of the most famous (and most successful) French sub of the war, the Rubis :

A cool modification for Type VIIC, Type VIIC/41 and Type XXIII Uboats would be the Alberich rubber plating, which helped them becoming less visible on sonar and less noisy. A few of those Uboats were equipped with it, lije the U-480, which was a Type VIIC which sank in a minefield in the English Channel.

Yeah that’s a really cool one. Fun fact the name is borrowed from the dwarf king Alberich, a legendary figure from Germanic mythology who can make himself invisible using an invisibility cloak.

its possibly planned for next year they said that there we “currently no plans to add them to the regular game” but currently is not the same as saying that they will never be added
