Lol people love parking there big ships behind islands you can sneak in set a charge or dump a torpedo into the magazine. Doing special forces mission would be fun or to set ambushes.

I hope this death trap is added would be nice for the rare one man subs you get a cockpit so you can experience this nightmare.
Marder subs did some stuff but success was low Marder tended to end up being a coffin for the crew but they have inspired modern drone subs. But she will be a meme for the player base.

Yeah, I think so as well, although maybe if they add small or even midget submarines, they can obviously go to lower BRs, but I’m not sure how to make them playable in realistic mode without torpedoes reloading and speed boost.
I included submarines into my Italian (+Romania and Hungary) naval bluewater TT in the 5th line, starting from same BRs, could be expanded into a separate tab though.

You just play them like a Torpedo Boat you survive long enough to dump your torpedos into the side of a heavy ship. Some of these Midget Subs / Semi Submersible Boats would just bring a new way to do Torpedo rushes

Well in game most gameplay of torpedo boats is shooting at each other with mgs and cannons, at least in NRB. Bigger submarines at least have some speed and some reserve torpedoes to achieve targets, while small/midget boats don’t have that, again I can see them in NAB, but in NRB playing something with 7 knots and only 2 small torpedoes would be simply a torture.

If there in the coastal tree they would be such a low BR is you hate them you can skip them there is also a value that some where bolted to bigger subs. They existed all thing equal when the sub update happens if there not in the tree I will write a some posts about them. There a tool.
IJN I-201 will be very dangerous. Fast underwater plus with great torps(fast , great tnt filler, and decent range). I almost hope they won’t add it right away. Could be too OP.

Manned torpedo craft would be an interesting idea, especially if sonar ends up being extremely modelled to the point small subs can be used to slip through. A Marder or a Neger would be interesting to see with the latter having sunk the ORP/HMS Dragon Danae class cruiser. I could see their role in EC for sneaking into a capture/spawn point if the defenders are too strong to fight with juat surface ships.

I personally figured maybe the VS-5 could’ve been the current BP item as a test option for upcoming submarines, but I would also gladly take it as a TT vessel if added.
