At the current 12 - 13 br sim games blue side is has large variety of viable gen 4 fighters. The f14, f15A, F16A, Mirage 2000, Mirage 4000 Jas39. Redside only really has the mig 29, f16A(china) and the F4ICE. It would be nice to have the semi active Su27, Su33, and J11 at 13.0.
What we need is a 13.3 max BR bracket, rather than moving those planes down in BR.

I can agree with that. Then 13.7 - 14.0 becomes a locked in bracket. That seems like a great idea. I made a post that supported that in Feb.
Personally i would like to give the red team more options from 12.0 - 13.0.
They do feel pretty outmatched against top tiers

I don’t see how in sim the F-16/F-15 aren’t equals to the SU-27.

The developers are amateurs in flight simulation. That’s why they don’t understand how important each element is in SB.
This is clear from things like removing the reaction of friendly aircraft from the RWR. If you have even a little experience with flight simulation, it is obvious that the RWR is used not only to avoid attacks, but also to confirm the position of allies with buddy spikes and for situational awareness.
I even suspect that their development environment does not even have a TrackIR and a flight stick, let alone anyone with flight simulation experience.

I’m fairly sure they’re adding an option to enable/disable this in the next major update.
Given the fact that sim hasn’t seen any gameplay updates in years, you’re probably right.
I personally like when friendly pings are disabled because I can iff planes when I’m in an aircraft that lacks iff.

It’s mostly due to the R-27ERs/ETs and the amount of them that they can carry.
The Mig-29G is also 13.0 and considerably worse than the Su-27/33.

You’re right, the f16A and F15A have better Flight models and Avionics.
We have a completely different situation in EC than in reality. With no proper communication, datalink, awacs, ground radar, mixed teams and plane matchups ect. we have so little information what is going on on the battlefield, that ignoring friendly RWR pings is kind of necessary.
Otherwise the RWR is completely useless if it does not show the aircraft type. 5-10 pings from all directions give you zero information.
Even if it does, we have F-15s, F-16s Mig-29s, EFs etc. on both sides, so it’s a chaotic burning brothel anyway.
