In air rb, the enemy gets a warning when you fire the aim9m. In ground rb, they dont.
I can fire them in head-ons in ground rb and the enemy hardly ever flares because they cant see me firing.
While i wont say if they are broken or not, they are certainly the best IR missile in ground rb. Probably the best missile in general for the game mode imo
