@Morvran With Su-39, I can’t grind anything because it’s only balanced for ground RB. I didn’t buy the MiG23 because of its terrible story of being a snack for Western fighter jets and its look.
Considering the Su-39 was added for CAS and likely would NEVER have been added if GRB wasnt a thing. That is not at all surprising. They need to add a decent CAS gamemode other than GRB, or you need to go play SB.
I see 0 issue in a jet designed for GRB and added for GRB not being top tier in ARB. You’ll just have to grind out the soviet air tree the normal way or with any of the other very capable premiums soviets have, like the Mig-23ML or the Mig-21S or go play SB. You’d grind out the entire tree extremely quickly in SB, and being premium, you’ll make millions of SLs and loose nothing.
Considering no other nation has anything that even comes close at that BR (and all the bells and whistles that come from a jet at that BR). Consider yourself lucky.
Im suspecting the Harrier Gr9 will be a Premium but I doubt it will be capable of going toe to toe with the AMRAAM and R-77s that will likely be flying about at the same BR by the time its added. I’ll still likely buy it, and I’ll play it for what it was meant to do, not force it into something else. Something it wasnt designed to do. I’ll use it in SB, performing CAS and other mud moving operations

Though quite frankly. I think its more just soviet players havent learnt how to fly it yet. They are use to just dominating every match with little effort and expect their new premium jet to the same. It doesn’t.

@Morvran The decision to name it the Su-39 instead of the Su-25TM was driven by significant reasons, as the experts at Gajin were well aware. They conducting thorough performance testing of the Vikhir missiles before incorporating the R27 and R73 variants.

It is realy so funny 1 guy wanting to break game balance because his plane is only meaned for ground attack, while everyone else says that it cant get any changes, it literaly cant get br changes either since lower brs have no radar missles or only shit ones and as a result the Su-39 would be to strong.
For once russia gets a premium vehicle that isnt overpowering everything else and this guy cries the loudest that it needs to be changed. Saying it is useless in its game mode. It is a STRIKE AIRCRAFT its game mode is ground battle literaly where it is useable , the air mode is the secondary role for it

Was the game ready for a 4X 9L carrier at 10.0 when A-10 was released? This wont be op like the A-10 cuz planes at this top tier br actually have flares.

Experience the Su-39 in Air RB yourself, and you’ll truly understand the significance of its performance.
But they arent wanting a couple of slightly strong IR missiles. THey want R-27ERs the best radar guided BVR missiles in the game, or Fox 3 R-77s or 50km range IR R-27ETs. They dont want small buffs, they want massive buffs.
The situation they want to create, is EXACTLY the same situation that happened when A-10 and Su-25 was added and that is what Im trying to advocate to avoid happening again, but at 11.3
With SU 39 you can do more job than Milan unless you try to tell me that Milan better than SU39
If given the ability, I would promptly replace the Su-39 with Milan . The capability to reach speeds exceeding Mach+ allows for efficient base bombing, enabling me to swiftly complete the mission and move on to another game.
