As I said, that was not a problem, because till now it’s pretty hard to kill an SU25 with such kinds of missiles, su25 has enough flares to deal with. It can launch flares automatically. however SU25T is too heavy compared with SU25K/A, so it is not possible to survive most aircraft B&Z, and I am pretty sure that F-5 doesn’t need to use missiles to kill SU25T, just like killing SU25K, using a cannon is ok.
DM is the other issue, try to aim SU25’s wing, even 20mm gun with AP shells could easily destroy SU25T
if it was in 10.7-11.0, I think it’s OK, because most of SU25 was shot down by cannons, not missiles, the only issue is some 9.7 aircraft don’t have flares.
Yes, but Iran never operated the F-14A+ either. Their models never received improved engines and retained the TF30s. The F-14A+ upgrade program happened after the Iranian Revolution, which is what severed diplomatic relations between the US and Iran, so they wouldn’t have received any of the later upgrades seen on USN F-14s. If you want to talk more about this you can dm me because this is starting to get off topic.
You’re right. I got confused as I see that the Iranian f-14s were fitted with improved TF30-P-414A engines, but they are still TF30s, not TF110s as the f-14Bs have them
At the moment, we don’t have plans for the Khod pod. Weaponry possibly will be reviewed in a future balance patch depending on its performance at its BR. Currently there is no timeframe or guarantees of any missiles being introduced for the aircraft.
But all feedback on the matter has already been passed on.
I consider it a mistake that the Su-39 aircraft is called the Su-39.
The main differences between the Su-25TM (Su-39) and the Su-25T are all-weather capability and the ability to use the R-27 and R-77.
As a result, the Su-39 in the game is no different from the Su-25T, because. does not have a prototype thermal imager and millimetric radar, as well as R-27 missiles (as the weakest among others possible).
In fact, the game is lying when it says that this is a different aircraft modification.
This is the same as if the F-14B had no differences from the F-14A, but had the name “F-14B”
In this case, the principle of “realism and preservation of historicity” is absent. The Su-39 is the SU-25T with the Kopye-25 radar, for which there is not a single missile.
Tell me, will there be more such deceptions in the future, when the modification of some aircraft will receive a useless part (for example, an aiming container for the F-14A without smart bombs that are aimed through this container)?
I am aware that armament is a balance value, but if because of this the aircraft loses all its difference from its previous modification, i.e. actually ceases to be the aircraft whose name it bears - this is a mistake.
I think it’s normal that we won’t get the R-77, but not getting ANY medium-range missiles for the aircraft that was specifically built to use them is ridiculous.
A similar principle applies to the thermal imager and the Kinzhal millimeter radar.
These systems were specially developed only for the Su-39. However, they are not in the game.
And yes, the Su-39 BR should be different from the Su-25T in the presence of the R-27, a thermal imager and the Kinzhal radar, because they are two different planes
Weaponry loadout choices have and will always be a balance consideration. We were very clear before the aircraft was introduced, R-27 would not be there from the start and was generally not planned at the time. So this is not a new development.
Its not a mistake that the aircraft is called the Su-39. As I said, the possibility of further expansion of its arsenal is not closed off for the future. But there are many vehicles in game that do not have every piece of equipment that they could carry.
Yes, but at the same time, the modifications of the aircraft differ from each other and retain the main role.
Can you imagine that you are adding the F-14B, the modernization of which was primarily the ability to use A2G without these A2Gs?
You introduced the Su-39, the main differences from the SU-25T of which are the presence of the R-27, a thermal imager and a millimeter-wave radar, and did not give any of this.
In fact, the Su-39 does not match even the minimal (!) Differences that he had in his life.
I’m not talking about a full set of weapons. But you literally did not give the plane what it was made for.
At the moment, this is not a Su-39. It does not have its minimum major differences from the Su-25T.
Probably, if you call the Su-39 aircraft, it should have at least the main differences, and not vague promises that “someday this will POSSIBLY appear”?
the fact you still continue to argue it, the su 39 is supposed to be an accesible strike aircraft for grb players without needing to grind trough the whole tech tree, it doesnt need those missles for that role, if you wanna grind air tree use the Mig 23, if i remember right you hate that plane, but just do it that is the actual fighter and great in the game, dont force the SU 39 to do sth in the game it isnt supposed to do
they always said they will add another SU 25 version in the future with all the features you want, just wait for that one an actual tech tree version that wont make problems because it is an premium either
Unfortunately no. I bought another plane and it’s the developers’ problem to make it correspond to reality.
I have already given an example. Would you consider the appearance of the F-14B without bombs and AIM-54S adequate?
Those. the plane would be called the F-14B, but in fact it was no different from the previous one.
f14b is a tech tree vehicle someone needs to grind trough a whole tech tree until he gets their, that already makes it a completly different case and needs actual afford compared to using your wallet
like i said i dont mind the thermal imager, just not the R 27 missles, it can get 4 r60m loadout no problem, anything else will make problems in GRB SIM and Arcade, you will destroy 3 game modes for 1
