13.0 Mig-29 advantages over su-27/33 → top speed and acceleration
Su-27/33 advantages → quite literally everything else (and 1530 kph top speed of su-27 isn’t that bad compared to 1575 of mig-29 on the deck).
Problem is that the game is stupidly compressed, and the mic-29g would be OP at 12.7 with r27s (even if it only hard the normal r27 and not the e models) with r73s.
IMO only way mig-29s could be at 12.7 are if it only gets r73s and no r27s at all, or the way current mig29s are at 12.7 currently are, with r27er and r60ms. And mig-29 at 12.3? Only if it loses the e r27 and only has r27r/t with r60ms

been able to get kills from around 20km launches with that thing, out ranging some fox 3s is crazy lmao
It sure is and when its from the side or behind, it also ignores flares and can hit, when the enemy is close to the ground. It can really be better than Fox-3s.
yep, also seen when launching from longer distances and you follow it with the munitions camera when they try to flare it, the ET will bite on the flares for a second and then change target back to the plane it was originally going for
The Su-33 was never 13.3 in realistic battles.
F-15A, Su-33/27, etc being 13.0 is the reason we complain.

Bison should definitely not go higher. It’s a 11.0 airframe with half the missiles of any other fighter at 12.3. If Magic 2 and SuperTEMPs can exist at 12.0, I don’t believe the Bison should go up any higher without decompression.

Its an Aim-7F equivalent.
SuperTEMPs have better acceleration at short range than either 7F or R27R1, the only advantage the R27R1 has over the former is data link. The Bison’s loadout is nothing to write home about at that BR since it’s limited by quantity and platform. R27R1 is basically a slightly worse 7P, but they got only 2 of them.

It has only ever been 13.0 in air RB, but it is 13.3 in air sim.
Su-27 was 13.3 but was downtiered before Su-33 was added
