I am not sure about that. I haven’t seen anything about the M2 to suggest it’s CCD/IIR

We really don’t need more advanced air to air missiles right now, Air is compressed enough as it is.
We ESPECIALLY don’t need more ICBM air to ground missiles, We finally have AA’s that have a slim chance at countering brainless CAS spam, We don’t need to go back to orbital strike simulator.

asraam is hardly superior it outranges it but its about it, aim9x irl is perfect as is(as far as the us needs it), i love iris t and i love the asraam, but i dont see why you need such capability for a fox 2, i would rather have a cheaper option than a better option as far as mica ir is concerned, the fox 3 exist for mid to long range, irl fox 3s arent gimped like ingame, they dont become glorified rockets sub 5 kilometers nor do they get confused when someone flies 60 meters of the ground, iris t and asraam are imo more relevant in the shorad role than the a2a role irl, as their capabilities shine there.
ofc ingame this is not relevant and aim9x is outmatched by everything outside of the r74 series
why would they add the earliest aim9x block and then just add shit like the iris t?
1- If we consider adding KPz-70 is wrong, 1 wrong doesn’t make another two wrong right.
2- Unlike the ASRAAM case, MBT-70 and KPz-70 have differences between them.
3- I don’t disagree about adding AIM-132 itself to the USA if AIM-9X sucks awful in future updates.
What I am asking is, ‘If you guys need to loan ASRAAM, then give us proper compensation and a reasonable reason’
4- Back to the Original topic, I think you don’t need AIM-9X now/soon.
Especially if the reason is ‘maintain American Superiority over the Soviets and other eight nations’
Also, thinking AIM-9X as a counterpart of R-77-1 feels dumb and bizarre to me.
5- Getting AIM-9X will not help you, but strangle you instead.
BTW, there was a leak, the USA will get AESA upgraded F-15C(AKA ‘Golden Eagle’) in the next update.
I think you guys don’t need AIM-9X unless you want to strangle yourselves.
