Yeah I heard about it like for example the AGM-130 cannot be launched from 70km but from 31.5km
Of course I know I just want something new since I don’t know anything about US missiles what could pull off 50Gs with high range too. I would say the MAKO missile but that would overpower the R77-1 since the R77 isn’t hypersonic and it isn’t a high altitude missile.

Out of these 138 games you died 118 times and shot down enemy planes 48 times.
Maybe, just maybe, shouldnt you try to get yourself more familiar with the game and its balance BEFORE asking for next-gen IR missile?
Like just by the fact that you likely more than not zombed your way to top tier i highly doubt that more than half of those 48 kills were actual players.

NOO! you exposed my cover ;) yeah I never said I play well I try my best but it doesn’t work always, I agree that I suck at this game but I still love it.
Its perfectly fine to play the game in any way you can and try your best, and no one is denying that.
however, if you are not familiar with certain subject, in this case top tier balance, why ask for 9X? Like, maybe its just me, but my first thought would be getting familiar with the mechanics, then asking for advice how to play and then maybe ask for buffs of vehicle/aircraft i play.

You might be right… I still question those AIM-120s since I heard about datalink that my radar marks the target and when the missile reaches like 15km its own radar will track so this is why we get the RWR warning later until the built in radar is off we won’t get anything… if I am right
Yes and no.
Plane can guide the ARH missile through datalink with TWS (track while scan), also sometimes reffered to as “softlock” (when you have target only highlighted but not locked), which does not trigger the “LOCKED” signal (the continuous high pitched tone) of the RWR, instead only triggering the “ping”, indicating presence of search radar, until the ARH missile goes terminal and switches to its own onboard guidance.
This is what you described.
Once ARH goes terminal, it stops accepting all targeting data from the plane radar.
Also plane can guide several ARHs in TWS at once, the amount depending on the radar. In garage X-ray viewer, hower over at your mouse and look for DL channels.
Also keep note that the targets all need to be withing the radar cone in order for missile to recieve TWS updates.

technical compatibiliy? theres pictures and documentation of this exact scenario happening. theres pictures of US F-35 shooting ASRAAM. Theres pictures of US F-16C flying with ASRAAM.
well ofc i am not going to be against ASRAAM coming to UK if its added, thats not what i mean. ive seen British aircraft with ASRAAM in person lol

“Technically compatible armaments” has some very funny side effects. Like how since the LAMS-6 are Frazer-Nash CRLs variants, the F-2 could technically mount and fire MICAs on it’s outer pylons, as they don’t require additional electronic programming in dumb fire modes.

since UK used M61 it makes no sense to withold. but AIM-7F is replaced by the British service missile, Skyflash, which from my understanding is a better AIM-7E-2 DF which is a missile ive had a pretty positive experience using.
as long as no changes were made that would cause issues with AIM-7F were made i dont really see why not, but honestly the current missile is not so bad imo

Yeah, Skyflash itself may not be great, but it’s not unusable either.
AFAIK, USN F-4J can choose either one of AIM-7E-2 or AIM-7F for preference, so
If we can’t get British-historical compensation for AIM-7F as AIM-9L on F-4J(UK)…
Getting the option to choose AIM-7F or Skyflash will be a fine trade.
Anyway, back to the original topic…
1- A2A AIM-9X shouldn’t come out soon. I disagree with OP. Especially if reason is ‘That’
2- If that time has come, maybe you guys could grab AIM-132 if AIM-9X acts extremely awful
(Because technically it can.)
3- But reasonable reasons and compensation need to be followed, I think.
4- If it doesn’t, and goes as usual Gaijin way, sadly I can do nothing but disapprove of AIM-132 to USA.
