no you actually do better with the pl12 lol. Jefff and j-8 are higher. the SU is 1 match, that doesnt count to statistics realistically

Yeah but those are only like 10 respawns. Look at the other r77 carriers with like 4x or 10x the amount of spawns,
Also in sim I agree digital rwr is VASTLY better. Arb though spo 15 is better
Yeah but those j8f games aren’t at top tier, they’re at 13.0 max games. All of those other games were when 13.3 didn’t have a bracket (other than jf17 and su27)

My original argument was that r77+spo15 combo was better in ARB. IN sim it’s definitely worse than the j11b package only because sim situational awareness comes at bigger premium
As someone who spaded the British gripen this week, derby is hot garbage.
Sure it does pull more than an amraam (yet less than ALL other missiles, yes, less than both aam4 and pl12 let alone the rest) it just lacks not really range, but ENERGY just so much.
After it pulls a hard turn (as typical in 2025 hobs meta) it barely has enough left to follow hot target at ~10ish km.
Use them even closer than that? Again it doesnt pull that hard at all, less than aam4 etc.
The rest of the plane is fire though, would recommend.
So yes, just like the other guy, I would pick 4xR77 gripen over this one any day of the week if I could.

and its not even the fastest time to target (up to 30-40km mica is faster and r77-1 is faster over all distances, even r27er is still faster for some shots)
All I’m saying is R-27 was easier to defend against than AIM-120 is lol
Multipath was 100m, and the R-27 was (and still is) SARH- requiring constant guidance from the launch aircraft which can only guide one (as opposed to 8 or more ARH)
