PL12 is absolutely not a brick
its not as good as r77 but closer to that than any other missile

Yeah ik, that’s why I had it 3rd best missile in my list. It’s not a bad missile. Just worse than r77 for my use case

In sim the r77 is by far the worst missile, in ground the same
I play sim too in sim third best missile after mica and r27er is r77

if anything its better in ground than air rb because there arent markers, so HOBS matters even more
and id assume its similar in sim
How? you do not have the scenarios in sim where you fight someone at 5k and instantly need to go into a notch
Sim is either Long range or dogfight or headon, not really smth where u shoot much of bore where the r77 shines
Yes you do lol. I don’t rat, for example last top tier match sim match I was staying at 7km altitude, firing and then vertical notching from around 20 - 5km ish in vietnam in su30 or I was firing r27er, I love r27er in sim

Honestly, I don’t play sim, but watching some streams of sim players - half of the time when it comes to A2A combat it’s send a missile - go into a notch instantly, or better yet - send missile while you are already in a notch
At ranges where u don’t need the r-77s pull for though
it shines in two of these three though
because you can start to defend earlier in a headon
and if they ever create too much separation in a dogfight they will die to the r77
