Do you guys think all Su-30s need to move from 13.3 to 13.7? In my opinion, all Su-30 variants are capable enough to handle a higher Battle Rating (is it russian bias? )

Its both Russian and Premium bias.
Russian vehicles always get the lower of 2 BRs when they are edge-cases (though I dont think that is actually the case for the Su-30, they are solidly 13.7 worthy)
But then they also want premiums to sell well, so an easy way to do that is to under BR them, so loads of people buy them. Im actually solidly convinced the BMPTs started at 10.3 not 11.7 where they should have always been, just so that more people would buy them.
Then finally, Gaijin looks at player stats. not vehicle performance or common sense when balancing. So premium players are bad and do stupid things. The vehicle on average performs more poorly than it should actually perform and gaijin under BRs it. Happens with a LOT of premiums.

By this logic all premiums should be massively undertiered on release to boost sales. Which they’re not.
Ground premium vehicles perform in line with their TT copies.
You’ll need to explain why it was released at 10.3? If not money, then what? The same can be said about a lot of unique premium vehicles when they were first introduced. The T58, Ka50, Pucara, A-6, T-55am1, 2s38 are some notable examples.
The devs, marketing branch or whatever aren’t stupid, they know exactly what they are doing.

No for the single reason that they are just downgrades over every other 13.7 plane (that I can think of apart from the thai f-16 which is just ???)
Even in the Chinese TT, there’s the J-11A which is also at 13.3 yet nobody complains about it while at 13.7 you have the J-11B which is better in basically every single way

The entire issue with the Puma was that it was hard to kill. remote gun station and empty space and trolly armor. They definitely learned their lesson and implemented mechanics such that it doesn’t happen again. At least with the 2S38, it was the first vehicle to get detailed modules making it much more easier to counter.
With the BMPT, It doesn’t make sense why they low balled it that much considering that they probably knew it was gonna be a puma on release. It has relict, spall liners, two cannons, crewless turret, and agms.
i thought they looked at how much SL it made compared to other vehicles around it

Russian made vehicles must be made to look amazing even if untrue, and if a premium is OP it sells better incentivising keeping it OP

It’s simply a unique vehicle and they had little to go off of when it comes to balancing.
If money is the reason behind that then premiums would be released at a whole BR lower than what they deserve, which is something that’s not happening.
The starting BRs then should have been based on the MBT chasis they use, which are the T-72B3 and T-90M if im not mistaken, which are 11.3 and 12.7 respectively.
So a starting BR of at least 11.3 would have been way more sensible than 10.3. Heck even 11.0 if they were concerned the firepower was lacking would have been reasonable. But anyone with more than 1/10th of a braincell could have told them that the BMPTs would have been stupidly OP below 11.0 and the fact the BR wasnt increased to 11.0+ within the first week tells you all you need to know about how much they were loving the sales

Puma, m901, ags, and countless other crewless turret vehicles is more than enough to give anyone a decent understanding of what would happen if paired with excellent survivability and damage output.
Wasn’t it the same BR as the Puma or at the very least .3 higher? I don’t know how someone would look at this and think that it’s fine.
The BMPT single-handedly ruined an entire BR bracket. If devs did that for every single premium, then it would ruin any good will the playerbase has towards gajijin.
Again, Gaijin isn’t stupid. They know when and what broken premiums to release that will sell like hot cakes.
