This being the only, at the moment, counterargument to what I’ve said, and as ground battles itself lives in a hell of compression (honestly, even decompression being always welcome, increasing the cap from battle rating 12.0 to battle rating 12.7 didn’t improved nothing, since only battle rating 11.3 vehicles and above where affected). Their differences in weaponry is clear by their battle rating differences, which I’ll agree with you, a lot is missing and this same a lot missing could be added, hopefully ground battles itself evolve in a way that such weapons can be added accurately.
Far from what I know, I don’t suffer from illiterate and I can recognize two different numbers, in this case being the battle rating values, as I mentioned to @Morvran, these vehicles will be at same battle rating in ground because of compression, although Tornado IDS SLE do have Brimstone SAL, the only thing that prevents it from being battle rating higher is the platform itself and the amount available when compared to the EF-2000. Again, ground battles is compressed and by taking a huge guess here, it will be this state for a more longer time, which I didn’t considered in my initial argument for obvious reasons.

But given at 13.3 and 13.7 it will face the same aircraft in an uptier, but would prevent 12.3s being dragged up all the time… I think its the lesser of the 2 evils to be 13.7 and not 13.3 (it would also drag 12.7s premiums up which would spare 11.7s from the constant uptier)

At its current state it is the best 13.3, bar none. Even the slightest possibility of other platforms being better WVR is countered by “dont care, HMD+R73 upon ye”. Of course this will only get you that far, but so will a better FM of say an F16ADF or jeff.
Even among 13.7 its decent. Worse than 27SM, sure, but dont you forget that 27SM is one of the stronger 13.7’s. Things like F-16 (especially the non-US ones w/o HMD), gripen, even j11b? Seems pretty much on the same level, give or take.
Honestly I’d prefer a MiG-29 with the terrible airframe but a reliable radar, perhaps MiG-29K, but the job is done, the probability to Gaijin to remove Su-30MK2 and replace it with something more balanced as the words of the original poster and peoples that do shares his same opinions. Talking as a ground battles player (I hate to entitle myself something), ground battles is clearly not ready for Brimstones’ MMW, maps are too short for this, and Gaijin is well aware that Dagor can handle these (surprinsingly). If Gaijin wake up to improve ground battles and let’s say an ground battles enduring confrontation with larger maps capable of housing actual long range anti-air weapons as well air-armor weapons like the Brimstone AGM, I’ll fully support this, but currently with 2 km by 2 km maps at best, Pradesh being one of the largest that allow over 1800 m engagements, this is very unlikely to be done.

About this I can’t disagree, meaning I don’t have arguments. I’ll have to agree with this, Kh-38M being at its accurate range now and with the newer anti-air systems (even though some of them not being designed to intercept missiles, specially supersonic ordnances it’s nice to see that Gaijin didn’t deprived these from locking into small radar signals such like missiles.
Lock-on-before-launch could be considered, which, for sake of people that urge to the Brimstone to destroy every existing atom of a tank in ground, I’ll agree that could’ve been added in a better state, not that is useless at all.
Just like people think that the East (aka Russia) is bad in real life (military regard), please don’t try to bring these kind of arguments, it would make this discussion worsen that it was before the memes and “you have skill issue” type of “argument” in a lot of quotes.
