pay to progress getting something you can get for free but faster which doesn’t put other payers at the bottom.

it is in the name, pay to win, and yes I agree there are some pay to win premiums like chinese Khalid with improved thermals, but it doesn’t change the fact if you compare MBT-2000 and Khalid they will be different, still 2 same tanks with different ERA placement and thermals. so you don’t pay to win and it is a copy. same as Su-25 vs Su-25K same ones, in 1v1 you cannot p2w your way out. it would have been p2w if Su-25K had HMS(Just made up example) and still same br, that’s p2w you talking about pay to progress as in war thunder getting top tier is not winning.

You don’t get anything by researching vehicles faster. You’re basically paying for convenience to ease your grinding.
There’s no winning involved.
Tam2 and Sea Hawk are good examples of former p2w vehicles, when the tt and premiums were at the same brs. Iirc that has been amended sometime over the last years.
Buy the premium tam and youd get more armour and dm33 at the same br.
Buy the premium sea hawk and youd get aam at the same br as the one without
Edit: also formerly Su-9/Su-11 and current mig-15bisish/mig-15bis
you know that hte mig-15bis ish gets a2g because it is a specifically modifed variant to carry a2g stuff
the 15bis ish is also around 150kg heavier making its flight performance worse
So it being 150 kg heavier than the TT bis makes it ok for it to be at the same BR as the MiG-15 in air rb?
becasue it is worse in ARB
worse acceleration, worse turn performance and worse climb rate

You realise the Al - Khalid has distinct advantages in how much it earns all premiums do:
Paying to progress is quite literally paying to win You are in fact paying to gain a distinct advantage in earnings which allows you to actively progress / results in winning more from matches.

If I do the exact same match with the Mk3B , I will earn no where near that amount of SL or RP.
Again, all premiums in the game are Pay to progress, which is inherently paying to win.
I have the ability to earn more and thus I have an advantage over those who do not pay.

It is a grind based game in which the end of each tree is the destined goal If you reach the ends of those trees faster than me because you have a premium lineup and I do not, you have paid to win.

150 kg is pretty much nothing, but a2g doesn’t really matter in arb (well, not for fighters)
exactly for ARB it is just worse due to being heavier without bringing something that would help you in return for it
