Su-27SM: Ferocious Flanker!

I’m citing the AGM as evidence that Gaijin is considering better kit for the US.

As good as mavericks are, laser guided munitions can be a bit more meta.

F-16s are still menacing in cas. With mavericks and lgb.

Trash simply because of the way they are modelled half the time they don’t do any damage. But yes, fair point. Although a bit frustrating it hasn’t already been added.

The only thing that makes F16C blk 50 2006 is the HMD. It’s still a early 90s airframe and radar…

And the Su-27SM is a 1980s airframe…Your point?

What was the other guy complaining about?

Russia having an aircraft from 2003, as if other nations don’t have aircraft from:

America - 2006
Germany - 2000
UK - 2003
Japan - 1988 (ouch)
China - 2004
Italy - 1996
France - 2000
Sweden - 1996
Israel - 1991

Woah… American AA is superior to Iraq’s AA? Big surprise?

Was reffering to current Ukraine conflict but suit yourself.

Yes, you’re comparing Ukrainian-operated western equipment to Middle-Eastern AA.

Seems like you misunderstood the situation compeletly, never mind tho.

The SU25SM3 was already enough…

Nah let them have a fast flying jet that has Thermal pod so they can stop complaining about F-16C, even tho Su-25M3+Kh38MT combo was more then enough like you said.

If Gaijin accept this report and implement it then all those Russian mains who defends the Pantsir will have zero excuse.

No they aren’t limited. This is a tradeoff, as a result they are not being targeted/can be shot down

???

It wouldn’t be stronger than the SM3 in A2G, so why gripe? The KH-29TD requires the plane to be within NATO SAM range to get a tracking lock.

If anything, it allows the same off-boresight monitoring that every other nation has.

not really, it has a 35km lock range

btw, it doesnt have stabilised sight(probably a bug)

su27sm takes the cas crown next patch and im all for it, more US whining

It does have a 35KM lock range, but the actual “track” range is around 9-12KM depending on target size.

On some rare occasions you can lock the ground near something at beyond the track range, and the missile will begin to track the target if the target starts to move when the missile is within the track range, though.
