The jet is super heavy bulky and has some of the worst turn rate for a 11.3 known to man, It comes stock with only 12 countermeasures’ and (2) R-60s air to air missles. with this in mind it gets up ranked with phantoms 2s , F-14 tomcats and mirage 2000s. these jets have way too much of a advantage over the su-22M3 I hope these changes happen and until further notice, I will not even look at this squadron vehicle.

I still get chased down bc how slow it is and cant even make it to the base to bomb.
It’s perfectly fine, being able to kill a base along with 6x R-60MKs is good for 11.3, considering it started at 11.0 with 6x R-60s it’s a massive upgrade. I personally love this aircraft, though I haven’t played it much since after it received R-60MKs, I enjoy it enough.

And also yes, I played it last weekend iirc, I had fun, just gotta fly to the stratosphere and boom and zoom people. Don’t really know why you’re going off of stock, every jet stock sucks.

That said, keep an eye on your BRs and RWR, if you’re in an uptier you want to sideclimb to avoid the radar missiles until everyone is on the deck in a furball. And choose either to bomb, or to not. If you bomb then your performance is hampered heavily. The SU-22 is a very fast jet clean, I have managed to reach mach 1.22 on the deck multiple times.
