well i mean that really really kinda ends you in your tracks. If just a few sources could give us weapons then Tornados would have AGM-65s.
thing is i dont see how youre saying that these 2 are the same aircraft. i dont see any distinguishing marks. if there are im blinder than i thought
proposed capabilities are different from manufacturer listings though
Bro at this point I dont know what to say, do some more research is all I guess. Its the same aircraft. If you look through the cockpit window you can literally see the crowd from MSPO 2001 convention.
I can tell you really want these weapons, but you need to do the proper research first and make sure it really happened. Gaijin wont make an exception for the Su-22
i mean sure you can be right, but i dont really see anyone i can point out that yeah thats not russia.
but sure, i dont need to die on this hill because the M5 isnt what im interested in
the tail of the 9305 aircraft has a polish insignia… also if you really wanted to do research you could find the 9305 aircraft registry number to see who owns the aircraft.
Lastly, look at the avionics in the alleged ‘59 yellow su-17m4’ those are all western and israeli avionics. I dont think russia ever carried out an upgrade like that lol
btw im not arguing that the aircraft with the clearly visible polish ‘roundel’ (its not round) is russian.
I dont know what to tell you, your book is wrong on many things. Just go find a new one bro. Obviously wrong, if you cant tell its wrong then that is a seperate problem.
Im fine with Kh-25MT on both aircraft and the other stuff on the russian aircraft, but are you really going to sit here and just deny obvious stuff?
What are you arguing then? The cockpit is Russian?? xD At first you said the cockpit was a Su-22M5. Then I pointed out that according to the infallable book it had to be Russian due to it being a ‘su-17m4’. Now youve gone from it being french to russian. Its pretty obvious youve fallen into the trap of basing your stuff on one source
This book seems to be correct. I havent read it all yet obviously but ive seen that is correctly designates the offending photograph as a Su-22M4. Though it doessnt really give much more information, just stating the obvious like it has new navigation displays
welp, ig at least one book is wrong then (F U Janes)

now that i look at it, a simple RWR upgrade would do wonders since the fitter cant even detect rolands currently but requires more research into the specifics and if it was even made
If it had a prototype or mockup this could be great.
Additionally I would look into the Su-22M4 WTD61 as they are test squadron, they might have tested interesting weapons
not weapons but some ECM pods etc. as well as something along the lines of RF signatures by using a HAWK SAM seeker mounted onto a Mi-24Ds turret
i think its on WTlive and/or can be found in crates
the aircrafts fate…
