My swedish is none existent and deepl isn’t perfect but that’s just saying they are buying 2a8s and upgrading/modifying the older 122s not giving a actual spec
123A is for the swedish military and the hulls if I had to guess would be D tech tbh what means nothing for wt because they don’t believe the hulls can improve anymore

Yeah, they are buying 44 new 2A8 and upgrading the 66 tanks they already have to the same standard. at least from what i’ve seen it should be the same standard. There might be some differences, not sure.

Eh, I’d say it’s between the two 2A7s Sweden just has more armored Leos which brings them up in comparison
Though the 50 cal on the Hungarian model seems like an HE trap like the PSO
The only area they lack is firepower and for 3 Leopards that are more armoured it’s a great deal compared to the 1 of German (could be 2 if they finally fix the PSO) and then literally only 1 12.7 tank in Italy being the 2a7. I think it’s pretty clear who’s tree is better in the leopard department

I’m curious how many people actually brings multiple since i personally only bring 1 of them with me as i prefer having a mixed line-up for different strategies
When a tank has the same mobility for better armour. ITS SIMPLY THE BEST even the downside of the 122s irrelevant if the PSO has its frontal armour added it would be the best
Eh first gen thermals and far weaker armor pen are pretty big downsides, oh no 100mm difference on a plate that only the object 292 can pen at close range. The mobility isn’t too different either.
That’s why I mentioned above the Strv 122 aren’t the best Leos but they simply exist in more numbers than that of the Italian and German 2A7s.
Sweden has the 2nd best Leo in game and more of them than other nations have of the best Leo available.
Again only the 2a7s have better thermals so 🤷♀️
And the armour pen thing is ridiculous. You can do fine with a dart with 300mm of pen in top tier because all the weak points are identical. Sweden has the best leopard full stop they have better armour then something 30 years newer
