Dual-band multi-element seeker? I think it might use DSP as well for flare rejection.
It’s what the PL-5EII uses in real life, Python 4 should be similar.
TY-90 uses this type as well, but not as advanced.

Yeah, PL-9 as well.
Of all the “equals” the Python 4 pulls ahead of the pack, as cool as it would be in game it will kill dogfights.

If like current gen IR missiles such as IRIS-T, MICA-IR, AIM-9X, PL-10, Python 5, R-74 etc. get added in their real-life state, they’re pretty much impossible to defeat unless you preflare.
But for gameplay reasons I’d imagine Gaijin will reduce their IRCCM performance.
I’d be fine if Gaijin never added their real IRCCMs.
What I said was more applicable in the export sense, and on airframes that aren’t a Falcon / Eagle.
Gaijin might decompression max battle rating higher 14.0 before add next generation infrared Air-to-Air Missile for fighter aircraft top tier, maybe

Gaijin would need to, they shouldn’t end up facing stuff like the F-4F KWS, or Mig-29G. They also shouldn’t face stuff with a lower CM count, since having to balance between chaff for ARH, and flares for IR missiles would be difficult if you only have 60 cms.
Not sure, either Japanese or Italian M44 will be the first to grind. Will also spade Alano and research new Ghibli boat. Then will slowly grind F-2000A, Hungarian SA-13 and first Thai jets. Although maybe I will try to get T-80 coupon during the event, so will mostly concentrate on ground (getting Hungarian SA-13 and M44s, continue grinding Japanese and maybe some other GF TTs).

Hope China at least gets PL8B on the J10A, would be happy with that.
Only the M44 really as nothing else jumps at me as want addtions.

I’ll probably grab the Thai Alphajets and the EFT. Then probably work on the event kfir. I quite like Mirage’s esthetically and it’s pretty similar to the Atlas Cheetah, that will turn up eventually, but I’m impatient.

They never do. That’s why I always take a pair.
It’s like people now just stare at their RWR and radar, can’t even be bothered to look up and see a missile flying towards them. Only issue is when someone with BOL decided he doesn’t care about CMs and just throw chaff and flare at the same time, which obviously u can do nothing about.
