They could be getting Gripen NG or Gripen E for all we know

SEPv3 is still high on my wishlist, just seems like we are never getting it at this rate lol.

Gripen NG if it is everything I think it will be will be VERY good
Mig29k is basically the navalized version of the mig29m. 8x pylons with 4x of them being r27er/et compatible, smt’s radar, better engines and supposedly a reduced rcs. Su30sm would work as well though. ussr isnt going to be super good place until they get the FM addressed or a pesa with a good fox 3.
Gaijin is holding that back out of spite because we hurt trickzzter’s feelings.

Neither would fill a role right now unless Gaijin introduce new kinds of armaments or makes another huge leap in weaponry advancements.
Sep V3, Leclerc XLR (Or even a proper AZUR lol), and ZTZ-99B I believe is the one with an APS? are the ones I wanna see

I think it’s obvious gaijing is trying to catch up the air tree to similar era as ground and based on the forum post I think their gonna be working on naval next year
Gripen C with a new engine, some new avionics and a new AESA, nothing crazy and no IRST iirc
Also literally every single western modern armament, the main selling point of the NG was how interoperable it would be with whatever a nation is already using.
I would also like to see a Merkava Mk4/5 Barak or a Type 10 with the anti-drone/heli 30mm and APS

Gripen C with an F414? It will be VERY strong its powerplant is already more then sufficent but giving it even more TWR… yeesh that thing will 1000% keep up with EF and Rafale
It would let them compete with Typhoons (thanks to better engines) while also having AESA. So seems necessary on that front.
Top tier air has made a bigger jump in a year (F-15A to F-15E) than top tier ground has made in 4 years (M1A2 to SEPv2).
It’s not just catching up. At this point they are just straight up neglecting high tier ground. 1 top tier MBT and a handful of gimped high tier IFVs in 4 updates is a joke.

Ok? All of the modern armament is stuff we cannot see in game, and probably won’t for a minimum of 3 patches
The problem is that they both only ever used A2A missiles in a completely different league than the ones we have now, and this game isn’t ready for the likes of IRIS-T and Meteor yet.
Eurofighter will always beat the gripen in a dogfight but the new engine will be nice to see, and I don’t expect to see AESA sets on fighters until the F-2 is added
