Storm Warning - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

huh

I feared this exactly thing

Ofc the 2 engines alone will be ridiculous but itd give it a really good chance

I mean take Japan. We have the most modern IFV thats just entering service. Meanwhile our air is still lagging behind and not complete (F-2 first production aircraft is from 2000 and its most iconic aircraft). Only way to catchup is having air take huge leaps between updates or we’re waiting forever

The issue is that Chinese and European A-A missiles simply outshine the russian/american equivalents so it’s unlikely we will ever see their full potential due to the whining from major nation mains

Gaijin really is just allergic to giving France a good IFV. So care to explain why it took 2 and a half years to get an arguably inferior VBC PT2?

The hopes is were getting F-2 as well and Gaijin said they won’t add it until other nations get comparable aircraft at the same time, like Fox 3s

If they dont consider the Rafale and Typhoon equivalent I fear what they do

I have no problem with air taking huge leaps, hell I’m happy for the air players.

I just have a problem unnecessarily neglecting other gamemodes.

Typhoon and rafale are equivalent to early F-2 and all 3 will evolve over time through their respective blocks and variants, it would puzzle me if one was not added this patch

AIM-9X would be a bit worse, but you could still make it work. The russians are the only ones who would have nothing. But yeah I hope we never see modern A2A missiles unless used in a SAM system due to how unfun it would be to give everyone 25 km range heatseakers that can’t be flared and pull 80+ gs.

I’m more worried they wont have the time to add all these aircraft in this one update and so some nations have to wait till March

This is a realistic worry and likely the realistic outcome.

Here gaijin, because it seems you guys forgot that France does in fact have ATGM IFVs.

It would be puzzling as well but the leaks have been quiet on that front so it’s concerning

asraam will utterly dominate inside a 30km arc of the launcher, while the IRIS-T/PL-10/Python 5 can hit targets who have merged with the launching aircraft, even curving around to hit

HELL NO!!!

lol

Quit lying. france is a myth.

Their tanks aren’t nearly as sleek as their cars lmao

So Can ASRAAM, but does take longer due to the speed off the rails
